Study abroad in Paris

Q&A

Q.What is the Paris Coiffure du Japon Training Program?

A.This is a training program in partnership with Paris Coiffure du Japon Beauty Study Abroad and AAA French Language Institute, where you can experience life abroad while learning beauty techniques and languages in Paris. The target is a general hairdresser.

Q. What are the program details?

A. The period is 1 year, 6 months or within 3 months (1 month, 2 months, 3 months). I studied French in the morning on weekdays, and practiced at a beauty salon in Paris in the afternoon. Counseling will be held on the 3rd Monday of the month.

Q. Why is language training and training at a beauty salon a set?

A. Learning the language is essential to living and working in France. It is said that Japanese people are not good at voicing their own opinions, but it is important to clearly say yes or no and make yourself known when living in France. You can also learn language and skills through practical training at a salon where you work with French people.

Q. What is counseling on the third Monday?

A.The aim is to solve any confusion or doubts you may have while practicing at a salon in France.

Q. What about counselors?

A. I am a Japanese hairdresser who has worked in Japan, Germany and France. Based on my international experience, I will work to provide easy-to-understand explanations and provide consultations on life in Paris.

Q. Will I receive income during the training? Is it possible to get a regular job?

A. Practical training at beauty salons is unpaid. However, it will be possible to get chips during this period depending on your effort and skill. After completing the training, if you pass the French language exam and beauty practice exam, you can apply for a student work visa. If you can get it, you can officially work at a beauty salon. In addition, after returning to Japan, we will introduce information on employment at Japanese beauty salons and provide employment guidance.

Q. What should I be careful about in terms of lifestyle and health management?

A.It is important to have a firm feeling and goals for yourself in the free life of Paris, and to take care of yourself, including eating habits, how to spend your leisure time, and attention to the security situation. Getting sick in a foreign country can make you more likely to get homesick.
